FIRE Planner · FIRE calculator and planner
Create a free account, answer eight questions — your country, three ages, what you earn, spend and have saved — and the FIRE Planner projects your household year by year to the end of your plan: an FI number, a plain verdict on whether the money lasts, a Financial Freedom Index out of 100 and where you stand among households like yours.

FIRE Planner · year-by-year projection
Your FI number is what your savings must reach to pay for the life you plan once the salary stops: your own spending at that age, divided by your country’s withdrawal rate, plus your goals and any loan still running, less income that keeps paying. The projection runs to life expectancy, each cost rising at its own rate — school fees and medical bills faster than groceries.
It ends in one word: Critical, Short, Tight, Workable, Comfortable or Ample, with a sentence joining that word to the figure. Every row of the ledger is there to check: opening balance, growth, income, spending, closing balance.

Financial Freedom Index · your score out of 100
The Financial Freedom Index weighs how far you are toward your FI number, the age the projection actually reaches independence at, and your emergency cover and debt. It reads in five zones: Just starting, Building momentum, Solid footing, Strong footing and Freedom in reach.
Your peer percentile sets your household’s net worth against households of your age in your country’s own survey, aged forward to today. Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong publish household income rather than wealth, so there it compares income, and the card says so.
What each reading means →Financial freedom index
An illustrative household. Your own score is computed from your plan and stored, not estimated.
The cost of waiting
₹10,000 a month at 7% a year, to age 65. Same contribution, same rate, same finish line — the only variable is when it began. Illustrative and rounded; your own plan uses your figures and your market’s rates.

Stress tests · what would move this
Eight stress tests — a 2008-style crash, a sustained inflation shock, two years out of work, a longer life, your money abroad buying 15% less — tick together and compose into one line drawn against your plan, so you see your own worst case rather than eight separate ones.
Then what would move this: saving a little more, living on a little less later, clearing your costliest loan — each re-run through your whole projection and shown with the years it buys, including when the answer is none. Two partners can stop at different ages, and a move to another country is priced where you will live.
The FIRE planner for couples →FIRE planner by country
Each country page names the schemes your plan starts with, the inflation and return rates it projects with, when local pensions can be reached, and the household survey your percentile is measured against.

FIRE calculators start from a figure you type. The FIRE Planner starts from your Portfolio Tracker — every holding, in every country, in one currency — and plans for both of you.
Indian mutual funds, US stocks, a UK fund and a Gulf deposit in one household figure, converted daily into your home currency.
What you hold today feeds the projection of when you could stop. Portfolio trackers do not plan; FIRE calculators do not track.
Two people, one plan, each choosing what the other sees — and your CA or lawyer sees exactly what you share, read-only.
Eleven markets’ inflation, schemes and household surveys, so your spending and your percentile are measured where you live.
Ask Niv a what-if and she runs it on your own projection and reports both figures — she never guesses at arithmetic.
No fee, no commissions, no products. Nobody at Nivritee can open your plan.
Questions people ask
Nivritee’s FIRE Planner is free, with no paid tier. It runs on a free account, because your plan is saved and kept current as you edit it: eight answers, about two minutes, and you have a year-by-year projection, your FI number and a verdict.
From your own spending once you stop working, divided by the withdrawal rate for the country you will live in, with tax on withdrawals allowed for. Your goals and any loan still running are added, and income that keeps paying — a pension, rent, a state benefit — is netted off.
A score from 0 to 100 built from three parts: progress toward your FI number (50%), the age the projection actually reaches independence at (30%), and resilience — emergency cover and debt (20%). It sits in one of five zones, from Just starting to Freedom in reach.
Yes. Each of you keeps your own age and your own working years, and your partner’s stop is set relative to yours, so moving one date moves the plan for both. The FIRE planner for couples page explains how the two careers are combined.
Yes. Say where you live today, where you will be living when you stop working and when you move. A cost in another of the eleven markets rises at that country’s rates until it ends, and the life after the move is priced where you will live it, in its currency.
No. It is a deterministic projection: the same plan gives the same figures every time you open it. What it offers instead is eight named stress tests, from a 2008-style crash to a longer life, composed into one line beside your plan.
About two minutes to a first answer from eight figures, then add your holdings, your partner and the detail at your own pace. Free, no bank login, and nobody at Nivritee can open your plan.
