Niv · free AI financial assistant

Ask about your money. Niv runs the numbers, then explains.

Niv is Nivritee’s free AI financial assistant. She reads a summary of your plan, runs your what-ifs and stress tests on the same projection engine your plan uses, reports both figures and explains what separates them. She explains; you decide.

What if I stopped working at 52 instead?

Then it does not hold — your savings would run out at 81 rather than lasting to 90. Your first year without a salary would be 2040, when Higher education — Child 2 falls due, so you would draw 22.9% of your savings that year against 3.5% on your plan as it stands. That is the difference between Workable and Short.

Niv · AI portfolio analysis

She reads your plan before she says a word.

Each time you ask, Niv is handed a summary of your plan as it stands: what you hold, with listed holdings at their latest close; what you earn, spend and owe; your goals; the projection and what stands out in it; your Freedom Ladder; and the typical ranges for your country. A summary rather than the ledger — enough to answer why the money dips in a given year.

On the Portfolio Tracker, the FIRE Planner and the Freedom Ladder she writes a short reading of the figures already on the page, shown only while those figures are the ones on screen. Every reading she talks about was computed by the server, not by her.

Niv · what-ifs and stress tests

Every what-if runs on your own projection, and she reports both figures.

Ask what happens if you stop earlier, plan to an older age, earn a lower return, save more each month or face higher inflation, and Niv re-runs your whole projection with that change. Ask how fragile the plan is and she runs it through a stress test — a 2008-style crash, an inflation shock, a longer life.

She gets back your plan as it stands and the changed one, and quotes both exactly as the engine returned them. She does no arithmetic of her own — not a total, not a percentage, not a rounding into lakh or crore — because an invented number looks exactly like a real one.

The stress tests in the FIRE Planner →

What if things go wrong?

Ticked together, they compose into one line drawn against your plan, never replacing it.

Niv · she explains, you decide

She suggests a change. Only you can make it.

When Niv can name the exact figure and the value — the age you stop working, an inflation rate, the return you assume — she offers it as a button, usually with the what-if behind it so you can see what it is worth. Pressing it is your act, not hers.

She can end an answer with a link to the Help Centre article that covers it, opened for your country where the answer depends on one.

Applying a suggestion from Niv →
Four steps. One: you ask, in your own words, what if I stopped working at 52 instead. Two: the engine runs your plan twice — as it stands, projected to last to 90, and stopping at 52, projected to run out at 81. Three: Niv explains both, quoting each figure exactly as the engine returned it and saying what separates them — the first year without a salary is the year a child's university fees fall due. Four: you decide — a suggested change to the age you stop working, with an Apply button, and a note that nothing in your plan moves until you press it. Beneath: every figure she quotes came from the projection engine, she never names a security to buy or sell, and the decision is always yours.

Niv · notes you control

What she remembers is a short list you can read and delete.

Between visits Niv keeps a few notes — what you are working towards, a constraint you mentioned, a decision and why. Never a figure: an amount remembered is out of date the moment you edit your plan. Every note is shown to you and can be deleted on its own.

Your conversation is stored to your account, so it follows you between devices, and you can clear it whenever you like. Deleting your account deletes both, and nobody at Nivritee can open your plan.

What Niv remembers →

Niv · what she will not do

The lines Niv does not cross.

She never computes

Every number she says came from the projection engine. If she needs one she does not have, she runs the engine; if the engine cannot give it, she says so.

She never picks a security

She explains what a bond fund is or why shares and deposits behave differently. She never tells anyone what to buy or sell.

She never edits your plan

A suggestion is a button. Nothing changes until you press it, and she never says “done” on your behalf.

General information, not advice

Her answers explain your own figures. They are not personalised financial, tax or legal advice, and regulated decisions stay with you and a licensed professional.

She never says “will”

A projection is what these numbers do on these assumptions. She says “projected”, and she is plain when a plan is in trouble.

She has nothing to sell

No fee, no commission, no products. Niv is part of every free account.

What only Nivritee does

An assistant inside your financial home, running the real numbers.

A general chatbot does not know your figures and cannot run your projection. Niv does both, inside the same plan as your Portfolio Tracker, Money Manager and Freedom Ladder.

Every country, one currency

Indian mutual funds, US stocks, a UK fund and a Gulf deposit in one household figure, converted daily into your home currency.

Tracking and planning, joined up

What you hold today feeds the projection of when you could stop. Portfolio trackers do not plan; FIRE calculators do not track.

Built for a family, not one login

Two people, one plan, each choosing what the other sees — and your CA or lawyer sees exactly what you share, read-only.

Benchmarked against your country

Eleven markets’ inflation, schemes and household surveys, so your spending and your percentile are measured where you live.

An assistant that runs the real numbers

Ask Niv a what-if and she runs it on your own projection and reports both figures — she never guesses at arithmetic.

Free, with nothing to sell

No fee, no commissions, no products. Nobody at Nivritee can open your plan.

Questions

What people ask about Niv.

Is Niv an AI financial advisor?

No. Niv is a free AI financial assistant: she explains your own figures and runs your plan through Nivritee’s projection engine, and every decision is yours. Her answers are general information, not personalised financial, tax or legal advice, and she never recommends buying or selling a security.

Is Niv free?

Yes. Niv comes with every free Nivritee account. There is no paid tier, no commission and nothing for her to sell you.

Can Niv analyse my portfolio?

She reads what you hold as part of your plan, valued at the latest close, and on the Portfolio Tracker she writes a short reading of your return against the return your plan assumes and of how your money is arranged. She will explain what a fund or a bond is, but she does not pick or rate individual stocks or funds.

Does Niv do the maths herself?

Never. Every figure she quotes was computed by the projection engine your plan runs on. When she needs one she does not have, she runs the engine for it, and when a what-if comes back she quotes your plan as it stands and the changed one exactly as returned.

Can Niv change my plan?

No. She can suggest a change to one figure — the age you stop working, a rate, the age you plan to — and it appears as a button. Nothing moves until you press it, and she never says she has made a change.

What does Niv remember, and can I delete it?

A short set of notes — what you are working towards, a constraint, a decision and why — and never a figure. Your conversation is stored to your account so it is there on any device. You can read every note, delete any of them, and clear the conversation whenever you like.

Ask Niv about your own plan.
