Family Finance · You, Partner and Family views

Your money, your partner’s, and the two of you together.

A household is two people, not one pot. Every row says whose it is — yours, your partner’s, or shared — and a shared cost is typed once, at its full amount, with a split. You is your own money and your share of anything shared; Partner is theirs; Family is the two together, read-only, so nothing is ever entered twice.

The three add up — yours plus your partner’s is the family, to the rupee, on every screen — and each view gets its own readings, so each of you can see what you hold, owe and are on track for on your own.

FIRE Planner for couples · two careers, two clocks

When you stop at different times, the plan does too.

Each of you keeps your own age, your own working years and your own stop. Household income steps down as each of you stops rather than all at once, and money in a non-earning partner’s name keeps compounding and is counted once.

The plan runs to whichever of you is expected to live longer, because the money has to last as long as the longer life, not the average one.

Family Finance · sharing you control

Each of you chooses what the other sees. Everyone else only looks.

Your partner keeps their own side up to date, and each of you decides whether the other can view or also edit yours. Your CA, your lawyer, a parent or a trusted friend can be invited to look: you pick which plans and sections they see and whether they see results, and they can never change a figure.

Everyone is in one People table, with where their invitation stands and one button for the next step. On a plan of two, nobody new sees it — and nobody sees more of it — until both of you agree, and anybody invited before your partner joined sees only your side until your partner says yes. Seeing less never needs anybody’s approval.

One household plan with two sides. Your side and your partner’s side each have their own sign-in, and each of you decides whether the other can view or edit your own side. The family plan is the two added together and is read-only for both. Below it, your CA, your lawyer and a parent or friend each see only the sections you choose, read-only. On a plan of two, a new viewer waits for both of you to agree; seeing less never does.

Family Finance · already shared, already understood

Your partner already has the whole picture.

Everything the household holds is already listed — the funds on each exchange, the deposits in each country, the provident fund, the gold, the loan — with what it is all for. Your partner sees it with their own sign-in today, so nothing has to be found or explained later.

The best time to learn how the family’s money works is an ordinary evening, with the verdict, the Freedom Ladder and the stress tests on your own figures. Two places to start: what your partner needs to know and talking about money as a couple.

Family Finance · joining, separating, changing your mind

A household changes. The plan follows it.

Each of these is a step the product already handles, with nothing counted twice and no figure lost.

Joining

Your partner brings their own plan in

A partner who already has a plan chooses how it joins yours — keep what you typed for them, start their side afresh, replace it with theirs, or add theirs beside it — and money already counted inside your figures is moved, never duplicated.

Changing access

Narrow it on any day

Change what someone sees, or remove them, and it applies on their next click. Widening access on a plan of two waits for both of you; narrowing never does.

Separating

Each of you keeps your own side

Shared rows and joint holdings are split by their shares, each of you leaves with your own side, and everyone else who could see the plan loses access.

Email

Names and roles, never an amount

Invitations are single-use, work only for the invited address and expire after 14 days. No email from Nivritee carries an amount from a plan.

Private, even when shared

You choose who sees what. Nobody at Nivritee sees any of it.

Each person sees only the plans and sections you grant, read-only, and never your conversations with Niv. Nobody at Nivritee can open a plan at all — shared or not — because the screen that would show one was never built.

How we handle your data →

What only Nivritee does

A family plan that tracks, projects and shares — in one place.

Budgeting apps share a month of spending; portfolio trackers share a balance. Nivritee shares the whole household — holdings in every country, the FIRE projection and the Freedom Ladder — on terms each of you sets. See the full comparison →

Every country, one currency

Indian mutual funds, US stocks, a UK fund and a Gulf deposit in one household figure, converted daily into your home currency.

Tracking and planning, joined up

What you hold today feeds the projection of when you could stop. Portfolio trackers do not plan; FIRE calculators do not track.

Built for a family, not one login

Two people, one plan, each choosing what the other sees — and your CA or lawyer sees exactly what you share, read-only.

Benchmarked against your country

Eleven markets’ inflation, schemes and household surveys, so your spending and your percentile are measured where you live.

An assistant that runs the real numbers

Ask Niv a what-if and she runs it on your own projection and reports both figures — she never guesses at arithmetic.

Free, with nothing to sell

No fee, no commissions, no products. Nobody at Nivritee can open your plan.

Questions couples ask

Family finance for couples, and sharing it safely.

Can couples share finances but keep separate logins?

Yes. Your partner joins the same household plan with their own sign-in, and each row says whose it is — yours, theirs or shared. Each of you chooses whether the other can view or also edit your own side.

Can my partner see everything I have entered?

You decide. Your side is yours to open to view-only or to editing, and your partner decides the same for theirs. The family plan — the two of you together — is read-only for both, so a figure is always typed where it belongs.

How do I share my finances with my accountant or CA?

Invite them from Family Finance with their email address. You pick which plans and which sections they see, and whether they see results; they can never change a figure or read your conversations with Niv, and you can narrow or remove their access at any time.

My partner does not earn. Do they need their own view?

Yes. Money in their own name — a deposit, gold, a fund — is theirs and keeps compounding, and their view shows it on its own. The family plan counts it once, with everything else.

Do you email my figures to the people I invite?

No. No email from Nivritee carries an amount from a plan — not a balance, an age or the verdict. An invitation names who invited them and in what role, with a link that works once, only for their address, and expires after 14 days.

What happens if we separate, or one of us deletes their account?

Either of you can stop planning together. Shared rows and joint holdings are split by their shares, each of you keeps your own side, and everyone else who could see the plan loses access. If one of you deletes their account, their own figures are erased and the plan carries on with the other.

Plan it together, on your own terms.
