What does the Overview show?
The Overview is your plan on one page: the outcome word and figure, four numbers, three money cards, the levers, and doors to the pages that hold the working.
The Overview is the first page of the app and it answers one question: where you stand today. It gives the answer first, then the figures the answer rests on, then what the money itself looks like, and finally what you could do about it. Every figure and every sentence on it is worked out by Nivritee’s servers from your plan; the page only lays them out.
What you see, top to bottom
- Your financial freedom outcome — one of six words, a phrase saying what that word means, a six-step scale, a sentence that joins the word to the figure, and Projected savings at the age you stop working. See What do the six verdict words mean?
- Your savings, now and projected — what you hold today with your age and the year, the projected figure when you stop working (with its value in today’s money), and the projected figure at the end of the plan.
- A one-line movement since an earlier month, with an arrow, once there are two months to compare. In your first month it shows nothing, because there is nothing to compare with yet.
- Freedom Ladder and Investment Performance — one sentence each, with Open the ladder and Open investment performance.
- Four numbers: Savings when you stop earning, savings at the end age, Average withdrawal rate and Does it run out?
- Three money cards: What you earn, What you spend and What you owe.
- Retirement Tracker, with Open the tracker — the year-by-year working behind every figure above.
- What would move this — up to three changes, each re-run through the whole projection and priced in years.
- Action items, with a button naming how many are open.
- How complete this plan is — how much of the projection rests on your own figures.
Your financial freedom outcome
Workable Lasts, with a modest cushion
₹8.45Cr at 55 — worth about ₹4.34Cr in today's money. It funds the plan to 90 and leaves ₹21.63Cr — enough to absorb something small going wrong, not something large.
An illustrative household. The sentence is computed from the plan’s own ledger, not written.
The outcome card as the public site draws it for the illustrative household (two adults earning in Dubai, settling in Pune, plan in rupees).
- The word and what it means: Workable — Lasts, with a modest cushion.
- Projected savings at 55: ₹8.45Cr, with the exact figure ₹8,44,77,725 beneath it.
- The sentence that reconciles them: the figure in today’s money, and how much is left at 90.
Illustrative figures — not anybody’s real plan.
Reading it in the right order
Start with the word, not the big number. The word says whether the money lasts to the end of your plan; the number is quoted in the money of the year you stop working, which is why it can look far larger than it feels. The four numbers underneath are the evidence for the word, and the money cards are the evidence for the four numbers — what comes in, what goes out and what is owed today.
The doors at the bottom of each block lead to the detail: the Retirement Tracker for the arithmetic and the stress tests, the Freedom Ladder for where the money should sit, Investment Performance for how it is doing, and Action Items for what in the plan still looks like a guess.
See this in your own plan.
