How do I track a fund I bought through a bank in Singapore, Hong Kong or the UAE?
Most funds sold through banks and platforms there are Luxembourg or Irish funds. Search by the ISIN on your statement — it starts LU or IE — and the fund is priced daily under UK & European funds.
Funds sold to investors through banks and wealth platforms in Singapore, Hong Kong and the UAE are mostly UCITS funds domiciled in Luxembourg or Ireland. Nivritee prices those every day under UK & European funds, by the fund’s ISIN — the twelve-character code on your statement or factsheet, starting LU or IE.
- Under Investments, add a holding and type the ISIN into Find it by name, symbol or ISIN.
- Pick the fund and the share class that matches your statement — a fund often has several classes in different currencies.
- Enter the units and what you paid. The holding is valued in the class’s own currency and converted into your plan’s currency with everything else.
What you see once it is listed
The fund is valued at each day’s published price, so it carries a gain, a real annual return (XIRR) and a place in the Portfolio Tracker’s readings, beside your holdings at home. Any exchange-rate movement since you bought shows up in its value in your plan’s currency, and the tracker says how much of today’s value that movement accounts for.
