Can I track investments in several countries in one currency?

Yes. Indian funds, US and UK shares, European funds and deposits in any of 142 currencies sit in one plan, each in its own currency, and are added up in your plan’s currency every day.

Yes — it is what the Portfolio Tracker, Nivritee’s multi-currency portfolio and net-worth tracker, is for. Every holding keeps the currency it is really in, and every figure on the page is added up in one currency: your plan’s, which is the currency of the country you will be living in once you are independent. An Indian mutual fund, a NASDAQ share, a London-listed fund and a dirham deposit become one household total.

Eight venues priced every weekday. A pence quote on London is read as pence; a holding with no price yet is valued at what you paid, and says so.

The eight venues Nivritee prices every weekday, with the illustrative household’s holdings on four of them, each converted into INR.

  • NSE and BSE, Indian mutual funds (AMFI), NASDAQ, NYSE, the London Stock Exchange, US mutual funds, and UK & European funds.
  • What the household holds on each, converted into the plan’s currency.
  • One figure for everything, in one currency.

Illustrative figures — not anybody’s real plan.

What you can put in

Everything in the table counts toward what you hold. Only the first row carries a daily price and a return.

How to set it up

  1. Open Investments and add each listed holding by searching its name or symbol, with the units and what you paid — or a SIP.
  2. Add deposits under bank deposits, choosing the currency and the country they are banked in.
  3. Type anything else as a figure, choosing its currency on the box.
  4. Open the Portfolio Tracker to see it all in one currency.

See this in your own plan.
