What is Nivritee, and who is it for?

A self-serve financial independence planner. It projects what your household earns, owns, owes and spends, year by year, and says plainly whether it holds.

Nivritee is a financial independence planner you use on your own. You tell it what your household earns, owns, owes and spends; it projects every year from your age today to the end of your plan, priced at the inflation of the country you will actually be living in, and tells you in one word whether your savings are projected to last — and what would change the answer.

Workable Lasts, with a modest cushion

Projected savings at 55₹8.45Cr₹8,44,77,725

₹8.45Cr at 55 — worth about ₹4.34Cr in today's money. It funds the plan to 90 and leaves ₹21.63Cr — enough to absorb something small going wrong, not something large.

An illustrative household. The sentence is computed from the plan’s own ledger, not written.

The outcome card, drawn for the illustrative household used across this Help Centre: the word Workable, and the savings projected at 55.

  • The verdict — one of six words. Here it is Workable, “Lasts, with a modest cushion”.
  • Projected savings at 55: ₹8.45Cr, with the exact figure, ₹8,44,77,725, directly underneath.
  • A sentence computed from the plan’s own ledger that joins the word and the figure.

Illustrative figures — not anybody’s real plan.

What you get

  • A verdict in one word — Critical, Short, Tight, Workable, Comfortable or Ample — with the projected figure beside it and a sentence saying why the two agree.
  • The Retirement Tracker — your corpus year by year, stress tests such as a 2008-style crash, and the ledger behind every figure.
  • The Freedom Ladder — four rungs saying where your money should sit, from a shock fund to what comes after independence.
  • Investment Performance — listed stocks, ETFs and mutual funds priced every weekday and measured against the return your own plan assumes.
  • Action Items — the parts of your plan that are still an estimate, each quoting the reference point it was compared with.
  • Niv — an assistant who knows your plan and re-runs the real projection to answer a what-if.

Who it is for

Anyone who wants to know when they could stop working, or whether the age they have in mind is affordable, and would rather see the arithmetic than trust a rule of thumb. It plans for eleven places to settle — the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, India and Malaysia — and it is built for households spread across countries too: you can earn in one country and plan to settle in another, with every income, cost and loan in its own currency.

A couple can plan together in one plan, with a view for each person and one for the family. You can also invite a partner, a relative or someone the family relies on, such as a Chartered Accountant, to see the plan.

What it is not

It is not a bank, a broker or an adviser. It does not connect to your accounts, does not recommend products or securities, and does not model tax. Every figure is a projected estimate under assumptions you can see and change. See what Nivritee does not model and whether it is financial advice.
