Is Niv an AI financial advisor?

No. Niv is a free AI financial assistant: she explains your plan and runs the real projection to answer a what-if. She gives no advice, recommends nothing to buy or sell, and you decide.

No. Niv is Nivritee’s free AI financial assistant. She reads your plan, explains what a figure means and why, and answers a what-if by running the same projection engine as the rest of the app. She does not give financial, tax or legal advice, she is not regulated as an adviser, and she does not tell you what to do with your money. She explains; you decide.

What she does

  • Explains your figures, the verdict, the Freedom Ladder, your country’s savings schemes and how financial independence planning works.
  • Runs what-ifs and stress tests on your real projection and reports the figure before and after, so you can compare them yourself.
  • Offers a change to one of your ages or six assumptions, as a button only you can press.
  • Points you to the Help Centre article that explains something in more depth.

What she never does

  • Recommend a security, a fund or a provider, or suggest buying or selling one.
  • Work out a figure herself. Every number she quotes comes from the engine; if she does not have one, she runs the engine or says so.
  • Change your plan. Nothing moves until you press Apply suggestion.
  • Sell you anything. Nivritee has no products, no commissions and no paid tier.

Nivritee — call me Niv

What if I stopped working at 52 instead?

Then it does not hold — your savings would run out at 81 rather than lasting to 90. Your first year without a salary would be 2040, when Higher education — Child 2 falls due, so you would draw 22.9% of your savings that year against 3.5% on your plan as it stands. That is the difference between Workable and Short.

Ran a what-if · independence age 52

Niv answering a what-if, as the site draws it: the question, her answer from a re-run projection, and the line naming what she ran.

  • The question, in your own words.
  • Her answer, from the projection she ran — not her own arithmetic.
  • What she ran, so you can check it.

Illustrative figures — not anybody’s real plan.

When you need advice

Use Niv to understand where you stand, then take that to a licensed professional before acting on anything with tax, legal or product consequences. You can invite your Chartered Accountant or lawyer to view your plan, read-only, under Family Finance — see whether your CA or lawyer can see your finances.
