Is Nivritee financial advice?

No. It is an informational planning tool. It projects your own figures under stated assumptions and explains them; it never tells you what to buy or sell.

No. Nivritee is a planning tool for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, tax or legal advice. Every figure is a projected estimate under the assumptions you can see — not a prediction. Speak to a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

What that means in practice

  • It works out consequences, not choices. It can tell you what your plan looks like if you stop at 52 instead of 55, or if markets fall in your first years of independence. Whether to do it is yours to decide.
  • It names no security or product. Neither the app nor Niv recommends a fund, a stock or a provider.
  • Its judgements are readings of data. When a figure is marked “worth a look”, the app shows the reference point it was compared with, so you can see why — and disagree.
  • The assumptions are yours. Every default rate is visible and can be changed for your own plan.

Niv is not an adviser either

Niv explains your plan in plain language and can re-run the real projection to answer a what-if. She never works out a figure herself — every number she quotes comes from the same engine as the rest of the app — and she never changes your plan unless you press Apply suggestion.

What if I stopped working at 52 instead?

Then it does not hold — your savings would run out at 81 rather than lasting to 90. Your first year without a salary would be 2040, when Higher education — Child 2 falls due, so you would draw 22.9% of your savings that year against 3.5% on your plan as it stands. That is the difference between Workable and Short.

Ran a what-if · independence age 52

Niv answering a what-if, as the site draws it.

  • The question: what if I stopped working at 52 instead?
  • Her answer, from a re-run of the projection: the savings would run out at 84 rather than lasting to 90.
  • The note saying what she ran — a what-if, independence age 52.

Illustrative figures — not anybody’s real plan.

When to speak to a professional

Use Nivritee to understand where you stand and what moves the answer. Take that understanding to a licensed adviser before you act on anything with tax, legal or product consequences. If you work with a Chartered Accountant or another adviser, you can invite them to view your plan under Family & sharing.
