How do I turn off emails?
Untick "Tell me when there is something new worth looking at" under Emails about your plan in Your profile. Account, security and sharing emails cannot be turned off.
The email you are most likely to want to stop is the Action Items digest — "Your Nivritee plan has a few things worth a look". It has a switch of its own in your profile.
Turning off the digest
- Open the account menu from your picture, top right, and choose Your profile.
- Find Emails about your plan.
- Untick Tell me when there is something new worth looking at. It saves straight away.
If the change could not be saved the profile says "We could not change that just now. Try again in a moment." and the box goes back to how it was, so you are never left thinking it is off when it is not. While it is off, nothing piles up: turning it back on later does not send you a backlog.

Your Nivritee plan has a few things worth a look
Since you were last here, two things came up in your plan: your housing figure looks like it may still be a placeholder, and your day-to-day spending has not been broken down yet.
Sign in to see what each one does to your plan.
- No figure, ever. Not a total, not an age, not the verdict. Mail is forwarded, quoted and indexed; your numbers stay behind your own sign-in.
- Batched, never interrupting. One digest at most, and never while you are in the middle of editing.
The digest as the site draws it, with the two rules every digest follows: no figure, and never while you are editing.
Illustrative figures — not anybody’s real plan.
The rest
| Can it be turned off? | |
|---|---|
| Action Items digest | Yes — the switch above. The unsubscribe control your mail app may show on the message sends us a request to stop, too. |
| The reminder two days after sign-up | There is nothing to turn off: it is sent only once. |
| Product news | Yes — reply "unsubscribe", as the message says at its foot. |
| Welcome, plan ready | There is no switch. The welcome is sent once; "plan ready" at most once a day, when you generate. |
| Account and security emails | No. They answer something you asked for, or tell you about a change to your sign-in. |
| Sharing emails | No. They are about invitations and access — things somebody is waiting on. |
If somebody keeps inviting you and you do not want their invitations, decline one and tick "Don't send me invitations from … again". You can lift the block later under Invitations you have blocked in Family & sharing, with Allow invitations again.
