What can somebody I share my plan with see?
Exactly what you switch on: per plan, six sections and Results. They never edit, never see your Action Items or your conversations with Niv, and cannot use Niv on your plan.
A viewer sees only what their access allows, chosen plan by plan. For each plan there are six switches — Ages & assumptions, Investments, Loans, Income, Spending and Goals — and a seventh, Results. Two buttons set them all at once: Everything and Nothing.

Results are calculated from every section, so they will still show totals for income, spending.

What Results means
Results covers the Overview, the Retirement Tracker, the Freedom Ladder, Investment Performance and the FFI score — everything calculated from the plan. Because those are calculated from every section, turning Results on while a section is off still reveals that section's totals, and the grid says so: "Results are calculated from every section, so they will still show totals for…".
Which plans
On a plan with no partner there is one plan to set. Once your plan has a partner on it there are three — yours, your partner's and the Family plan — and each has its own row of switches. A viewer allowed only the Family plan sees combined section totals, never an individual row.
What a viewer can never do or see
- Change anything. Every screen is view only, and the banner at the top says "You are viewing …'s plan … — view only."
- See your Action Items. They are your to-do list, not a reading.
- Read your conversations with Niv, or use Niv on your plan.
- Make the server reveal more. Anything a viewer's screen calculates is worked out from your saved plan, not from anything they send.
If nothing in a view has been shared with them, their screen says "Nothing in this view is shared with you." If Results is off, it says "The results — the verdict, the projection and the scores — are not shared with you."
Changing it later
- In Family & sharing, find them in the People table.
- Press Change access, adjust the switches and press Save what … sees.
- Less access applies at once. More access, on a plan you share with a partner who has joined, waits for your partner's approval.
